I have finally got around to adding pictures from the events Christina has attended this year. Sorry it took me so long, I have been busy with real life commitments, but at least we have them now! ABC has renewed Christina’s hit show, Samantha Who? for a second season! Check out the following article from the Associated Press:

With Hollywood about to rev up again following a three-month writers strike, ABC announced Monday that it had ordered a season’s worth of episodes for nine series next fall, including four freshman series.

The prime-time soap “Dirty Sexy Money,” fantasy forensics series “Pushing Daisies,” the “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff “Private Practice” and Christina Applegate comedy “Samantha Who?” will all be back for a second season.

The other pick-ups aren’t a surprise: “Desperate Housewives,” “Lost,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Brothers & Sisters” and “Ugly Betty.”

The rest of ABC’s fall schedule will be unveiled in the next few months.

Television writers could be back at work as early as Wednesday if members of their union vote to end their walkout because of a tentative contract deal. It’s still unclear how much of this current season can be salvaged for favorite shows.

ABC is owned by The Walt Disney Co.

To end on a happier note, the writer’s strike (that was started by members of the WGA) is officially over! The strike lasted over 3 months and cost Hollywood over $2 billion in losses. I hope the writer’s got everything they were asking for and are happy with the outcome.

The Screen Actor’s Guild Awards were held tonight in Los Angeles. Christina was in attendance (to help support her nomination for Samantha Who?) and she looked absolutely fabulous! Sadly, Christina didn’t win the award she was up for (it went to Tina Fey for “30 Rock”), but there is always next year! The dys-FUNction continues with the less-than-loveable Bundys! Peggy switches seats with Al at a basketball game, and ends up being chosen for the $10,000 free throw contest. Kelly and Bud buy a car to share, and then are forced to double date. Due to a hospital mix-up, Al is accidentally circumcised after he’s injured playing baseball. Al could get a brand new car as his old Dodge nears 999,999 miles, but can he hold out?

With the success of Christina Applegate’s latest series, Samantha Who?, you knew that Sony wouldn’t wait long to bring us Married… with Children – The Complete 8th Season on DVD! Join Kelly, Bud, Peggy and Al Bundy on March 18th, and their guests that include NBA stars Clyde Drexler, Vlade Divac and Xavier McDaniel, plus Jerry Springer (as himself), baseball legends Ernie Banks and Johnny Bench, NFL legend Joe Namath, the voice of Cheech Marin (as a change-of-pace voice for Buck the dog), Dom DeLuise (voicing another dog, Floyd), Gary Coleman, Danny Bonaduce, Julie Benz, Chi McBride, singer Stacy Ferguson (“Fergie”), the voice of Rick Dees, Waylon Jennings, and a brief background appearance by Nicholas Brendon.
